The Job


Job Description:
  • Epitaxial development (MOCVD) of novel processes and structures of the AlGaInP/ AlGaAs material system

  • Development of novel and improvement (stability, efficacy, cost) of existing epitaxy structures and fabrication using AlGaInP and AlGaAs-MOCVD growth processes targeting opto-electronic Infrared/Horticulture Lighting/Micro LED applications on senior expert level

  • Design, execution and analysis of epitaxy experiments to enable continuous improvement based on proven and newly to be developed characterization techniques (e.g. µ-PL, PL, microscopy, SEM, XRD, AFM, SIMS, etc.)

  • Extensive collaboration in DOE planning and interpretation with interdisciplinary teams of experts in simulation, epitaxy, and analytics

  • Sustainable, systematic solving of complex problems to improve stability, efficiency, LED output power and anti-ESD ability

  • Transfer of developed epitaxy processes and technologies to mass production

Job Requirements:
  • University degree in chemistry, physics, materials science, electrical engineering or a related field(preferably with PhD)

  • More than 5 years of experience in research and development of novel structures and new process regimes of III-V semiconductors, preferably in the AlGaInP, AlGaAs material system on a senior expert level

  • In-depth knowledge of optoelectronic semiconductors

  • Simulation skills for optical and/or LED structures.

  • Analytical strengths & ability to solve technically complex problems

  • Extraordinary ability to innovate

  • Good Team Player. Willing to travel regionally and internationally

  • Excellent communication skills in English and capability to decide on cross-functional environment.
