Our client is a key player in the global green transition, an optoelectronics industry superstar, mainly engaged in the R&D, production and marketing of full-color, ultrahigh-brightness LED epitaxial wafers, chips, III-V compound semiconductors, microwave communication IC and power devices and optical communication components.

The Job

• Management of projects for the development of new chip platforms in the field of AlGaInP and AlGaAs chip technology

• Supervision of rollout projects as part of the platform development

• Elaboration and testing of new chip concepts and designs

• Consolidation of the development of individual processes

• Integration of process sequences in the production chain and transfer to production

• Sustainable, systematic solving of complex problems with regard to design and process

• In-depth analysis of the parameters influencing component properties

• Successfully completed a (technical) university degree in electrical engineering, physics, materials science, or a comparable technical/natural science degree

• Several years of professional experience and/or a relevant doctorate

• Experience in the field of the semiconductor industry, preferably in LED chip development

• Simulation skills for optical and/or LED structures.

• Several years of experience in managing complex projects.
